ATLANTA – Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Director of Child Support Services Tanguler Gray has been elected to serve on the National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) Board of Directors and Executive Committee.   

Director Gray, who was nominated and elected by her peers, will serve as secretary of the NCSEA board.

“As the director of our Division of Child Support Services, Ms. Gray has worked to strengthen the families of our state by ensuring children receive financial and emotional support from both parents,” DHS Commissioner Robyn A. Crittenden said. “The Department and NCSEA are fortunate to have her professionalism, leadership and expertise.”                                                       

Director Gray has 23 years of experience in the child support arena and has been recognized nationally for her work in establishing outreach programs to assist noncustodial parents overcome barriers to paying court-ordered child support. Under her leadership, DCSS distributed $740 million in support to Georgia’s children in Federal Fiscal Year 2016. This year, Georgia became the first state to make a full-service child support mobile app available to its customers.
