Payment Options

The GA DCSS On the Go mobile app can be downloaded on any mobile device. GA DCSS On the Go provides easy and secure access to your child support account on the go. The mobile app allows users to conveniently make DCSS child support payments, specialty payments, and pay fees.

Payments can be made conveniently from your bank account, credit/debit card, and e-wallet.  

• FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less.  
• There is a convenience service fee of 2.5% of the total amount of credit card, debit card, and e-wallet payments. No convenience service fee applies when paying from your bank account.

Log in or register under "Pay Support via Bank Account", then simply click on the “Make a Payment” tab under the Customer Online Services section.

Select “Pay Support via Bank Account” or select the credit card payor role and complete the required information.

Payments can be made conveniently from your bank account, credit/debit card, and e-wallet.  

Bank Account – DCSS customers can schedule one-time or recurring payments from their United States checking or savings accounts. Customers are responsible for stopping or changing recurring payments.

• FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less.
• No convenience service fee applies.    

Credit/Debit Cards accepted from  American Express®, Discover®, JCB®, Maestro®, Mastercard®, or Visa®.

• FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per credit card payment, whichever amount is less.
• Convenience service fee: 2.5% of the total amount of your credit card payment.

E-wallet Payments (must be linked to your credit/debit card) – Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or Venmo

• FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less.
• Convenience service fee: 2.5% of the total amount of your e-wallet payment.

You may be contacted by email ([email protected]) or by phone (866-836-6434) to verify your credit/debit card or e-wallet payment after an online payment confirmation number is received. Additional information or verification may be needed to process the payment. 

Pay By Phone: Interactive Voice Response (IVR) - Customers may pay by credit or debit card by contacting the DCSS Communications Center at 1-877-GADHSGO (1-877-423-4746), or the Georgia Family Support Registry at 855-768-2654 or 866-836-6434.

• FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less. 
• Convenience service fee: 2.5% of the total amount of your credit card payment.

Customers can pay by mail using money orders, personal or business checks, and cashier’s checks sent to Family Support Registry. In addition to the two main post office boxes listed below, there are eight specialty boxes.

Customers can make certain payments in person at their local DCSS office.

• Remote Scanned Payments*: Paper payment methods, including checks, money orders, and cashier’s checks, used for court order purge payments, license reinstatement, fees, etc., which are paid at the DCSS local office, can be processed by remote scan. 
  
  *Payments scanned before 2 p.m. are processed the same day. While payments scanned after 2 p.m. are processed on the following business day.
  • FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less.  
     
• TouchPay Payments: Noncustodial parents may pay their normal support or court order purge payments using TouchPay. TouchPay full-service kiosks are located in the following 10 DCSS offices: Clayton Jonesboro, Cobb Marietta, Coweta Carrollton, Dougherty Albany, Eastern Savannah, Fulton Atlanta, Gwinnett Lawrenceville, Macon, Southern Valdosta, and Stone Mountain DeKalb Decatur. Cash and credit/debit card payments are accepted. 
  
  TouchPay desktop terminals are available in the following 30 offices. Credit/debit cards by American Express®, Discover®, Mastercard®, and Visa® are accepted.

  Funds are generally processed within 2-3 business days. TouchPay charges a convenience fee based on payment amounts. 
  
  TouchPay full-service kiosks are standalone lobby units that can process cash and credit/debit card payments. TouchPay desktop terminals are staff-assisted payment stations that process only debit/credit cards or checking transactions.
   
  • FSR fee: A fee of $1.50 or 5% per payment, whichever amount is less.  
  • Cash Payments convenience fee: $3.00 fee for $0.01 to $100.00; Cash Payments of $100.01+ will include a fee of $3.00 per incremental $100.00 amount (example $200.00 payment will be charged a $6.00 fee)
  • Credit Card payments convenience fee will be charged as follows:
    • $0.00 to $50.00 = $3.00 fee
    • $50.01 to $100.00 = $4.00 fee
    • $101.00 + = $0.40 per incremental $10.00 (example: a $200.00 payment will be charged an $8.00 fee)   

DCSS customers can make payments by cash at any available MoneyGram location. When making a MoneyGram cash payment, you will need your DCSS case number, cash, and GA DCSS Receive Code - 14655. MoneyGram charges a fee of $4.99 for each transaction.
